With a rich background in both documentary and commercial video production, John's journey as a filmmaker has been shaped by a profound commitment to storytelling.

John's journey began at the esteemed Newport Film School, where he honed his craft and nurtured his artistic sensibilities as he completed a BA (hons) in Documentary Film & Television. It was during these formative years that he discovered the transformative power of narratives, sparking a lifelong passion for changing perspectives through the lens of his camera.

Since graduating, John has ventured into the realms of documentary filmmaking, short films, and commercial video productions. Notably, he spent seven fruitful years spearheading a prominent London video agency, personally overseeing the production of thousands of projects. This invaluable experience not only granted him a profound understanding of commercial value and marketing strategies for businesses but also fostered a keen eye for creativity and innovation.

With an entrepreneurial spirit that knows no bounds, John now helms his own small agency, offering his expertise as a seasoned producer to spearhead commercial ventures. His expertise in the commercial realm is driven by a deep-rooted appreciation for the delicate balance between creative vision and strategic execution.

Yet, John's heart remains intrinsically tied to his passion for authentic filmmaking. He believes that stories have the uncanny ability to bridge gaps, fostering empathy and understanding across diverse cultures and communities. It is this belief that continues to propel him forward in the pursuit of unearthing untold stories and bringing them to life on the silver screen. In 2020, he launched a film that has garnered acclaim and success across the world at prestigious film festivals. Titled "Not for Money, Not for Love, Not for Nothing," this short documentary has been described by one jury as "a compelling portrait of sex workers" and "totally entrancing." 

With each project he undertakes, John demonstrates unwavering dedication, imbuing every frame with authenticity, emotion, and a touch of magic. His work stands as a testament to his commitment to making a difference through storytelling.
